Fine food and good times

Dining at The Goring

No one should be expected to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion if they have not been well fed. From the culinary excellence of our Michelin-starred Dining Room (keep an eye out for the unusual portraits) and decidedly British Afternoon Tea to The Cocktail Bar serving the best G&Ts in London, dining at The Goring is always sensational.

  • The Dining Room

    Utterly delicious in every way

In our Michelin-starred Dining Room, culinary alchemy happens. Menus are dictated by the seasons, with the freshest and finest produce showcasing the best the British Isles has to offer, matched with the expert selections of our Sommelier.  A place of such conviviality that even the monkeys on the walls are drinking Champagne.

  • Our Chef

    Graham the Great

Executive Chef Graham Squire is one of the brightest lights working in the culinary world today. Trained in the kitchens of Claridge’s and Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, Graham and his team love nothing more than applying their outrageous talents to bespoke menus informed by the Michelin-starred excellence of the Dining Room.

  • Our reinvented Dining Room

    The Devil’s in the detail

Bringing together the artistry of designer Russell Sage and Fromental’s exquisite hand-crafted wall coverings, the Dining Room is full of secret details. Look closer within its magisterial red and green interiors to discover monkeys on the walls engaged in all kinds of tomfoolery and oil paintings that include our Chairman David in a judge’s wig and a certain rapper dressed up as a shepherd.

Afternoon Tea

Did somebody say scones?

We’re celebrated for our Afternoon Tea, where that most delicious of English traditions is given a fabulous Goring-style twist. Linger over freshly-baked cakes, fragrantly warm scones, gourmet finger sandwiches and – why not? – a glass of chilled Bollinger.

The Goring Cocktail Bar

What you need is a drink

And we can help with that. Take a seat at The Cocktail Bar to watch our mixologists in their element. Order a classic or try our signature ‘Thank you, Your Majesty’ (raspberry and yuzu syrup, vodka and Champagne), sipped by the open fire during winter or outside in our famous garden on a summer evening.

  • Our menus

    Creating Michelin-starred magic

Whether it’s a hearty breakfast, sophisticated lunch or glamorous dinner, menus at The Goring honour the classic and contemporary through a Michelin-starred spectrum. From the beloved traditions of Afternoon Tea and universal children’s favourites to the joy of room service, deliciousness reigns supreme.

  • Local and seasonal

    The best of British

Infinitely inspired by a wealth of wonderful home-grown ingredients, menus at the Goring prioritise local produce sourced from around the British Isles and continually evolve to reflect what each season uniquely offers.

  • Do come for tea

    Afternoon Tea Offer

Who amongst us has the strength to turn down Afternoon Tea?
