Three of the four Belgravia Suites feature immaculate historic silks rewoven to order from The Gainsborough Silk Company, the Royal Warrant-holding Suffolk textile mill. The spaces are just perfect jewels. Highlights include outstandingly beautiful hand-made furniture in birds-eye maple, mahogany and walnut - all bespoke of course. The sitting rooms have handsome marble fireplaces and are filled with antiques, objets d’art and wonderfully eccentric Goring touches. Intricate inlays in wardrobe doors, side tables and bed-heads add another layer of quality.
For the charm, serenity and style of a country house, request The Nina Campbell Suite. A classic yet contemporary Drawing Room leads to a wonderfully conceived bedroom with cream silks and 1940’s style wallpapers. The bathroom is simply divine with a generously proportioned walk-in shower and a silvered slipper bath.
The Belgravia Suites are considerably larger than the Junior Suites with an entrance leading into the light, spacious drawing room, following through to the imposing bedroom. The bedding configuration can be changed to two single beds on request. These suites overlook the front of the hotel on Beeston Place, the quiet side road on which The Goring stands.
